Project scope includes implementation of the first Adaptive Signal Control Technology project (ASCT) in Miami-Dade County at 29 signalized intersections along SR-90/SW 8th Street. A&P Consulting Transportation Engineers provided a wide range of support, including development of the RFP documents and bench testing of signal and ASCT hardware as part of the integration of the Insync adaptive signal system with D170 traffic controllers. Our staff also provided monitoring of signal operations during project “burning” period before final project acceptance.
