The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began construction the week of December 17, 2018, at the Golden Glades Park & Ride Center in Miami-Dade County. A new and modern integrated Multimodal Transportation Facility will be built to upgrade the existing Golden Glades Park & Ride Center. This project will improve the connectivity between transportation modes, as well as increase transfer efficiency, accessibility, safety, security and capacity. This project, in partnership with Miami-Dade County, will enhance the overall aesthetics of the Park & Ride area, while increasing visibility from the roadways. A&P (Prime Designer) and LEAD Engineering Contractors (Prime Contractor) have joined forces to reconstruct the Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility (GGMTF).
