SR-25 / Okeechobee Road Reconstruction
SCOPE OF WORK
The reconstruction of Okeechobee Road is a massive undertaking. Not only will the intersection of Okeechobee Road and N.W. 116th Way be grade-separated, the project will also include milling and resurfacing of N.W. 116th Way, realignment, and widening of Frontage Road, reconstruction of N.W. South River Drive, construction of 4 new bridges, and widening of 2 existing bridges over the C-6 Canal.
As the Engineer of Record, A&P Engineers is responsible for the design and contract documentation of 3 single-span skewed steel plate girder bridges and 1 double-span pre-stressed bridge using Florida I beams. Aside from these structures, our responsibilities extend to the design MSE Walls, signal support systems, and sign support structures.
