The scope of this project included improvements on a 3.1-mile corridor along SR-874 from S.W. 117th Avenue to S.W.88th Street. While the scope included widening as well as access and tolling facility improvements.

 

As part of our commitment, A&P Engineers developed a Conceptual Drainage Master Plan which was submitted to the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX), South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), and Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM). This conceptual plan divided the project area into 3 basins based on existing flow patterns; it also assessed the existing as well as proposed conditions for the project as a whole. Upon completion, this document was submitted as part of MDX’s bid package.
