Structure S-194 over The C-102 Canal
SCOPE OF WORK
This project is a complete reconstruction of SR-997/Krome Avenue/S.W. 177th Avenue from S.W. 232nd Street (MP 7.519) to just south of S.W. 184th Street/Eureka Drive (MP 10.536).
Krome Avenue is a critical travel, freight, evacuation, and recovery route as well as being part of the Florida Intrastate Highway System (FIHS) and Florida Strategic Intermodal System (SIS). The project consists of reconstructing the existing 2-lane undivided section to be a 4-lane divided section. Extensive coordination with the adjacent projects was required.
